You might experience extreme delays if you have multiple program nodes running within a single session of SAS Enterprise Guide.

As a result, memory continues to grow on the system and might cause significant delays in the performance of the SAS Enterprise Guide editor. The circumstances are not exact. For example, you might experience the delay if you have three very large programs open or ten somewhat smaller files.

Current Workaround

When you are finished viewing or working on a program, click the x to close the program explicitly rather than switching immediately to another program or the process flow.
